NDIS support in Coolangatta

Coolangatta is the quiet end of the Coast. Kirra, Bilinga, Tugun and Currumbin are beach towns more than suburbs, the airport is around the corner and Tweed Heads is a walk across the border. Life here runs slower and closer to the water. We support NDIS participants across the southern Coast with help at home, community hours, transport and everyday skills.

What we help with

The four core supports, in plain words: help at home (mornings, meals, the house), getting out and about (community access, social time, sport), transport (appointments, work, school, day programs) and everyday things and skills. If you are not sure what fits, call — we will work it out with you. See the four supports.

What support looks like around Coolangatta

Buses run along the Gold Coast Highway, but getting around the south mostly means driving — to Robina or Tweed for specialists, to Burleigh or Palm Beach for the pool or a bigger shop. We do that. Closer to home the foreshore paths from Coolangatta to Kirra are flat and popular, there is a library and a surf-club culture that is welcoming if you want it. Cross-border life is normal here; the NDIS is national, so if part of your week is in Tweed Heads just tell us on the first call and we will say honestly whether we can cover it.

Why a small, founder-led provider

The southern Coast gets less attention from providers based in Southport or Brisbane, and it shows in reliability. We only take on hours we can staff from this end. Heidi will tell you straight if we cannot. When we can, you get a local worker you have met, price-guide rates, a plain service agreement, and a founder you can ring.

How to check a provider is legitimate

There are people in this industry who should not be. Whoever you choose in Coolangatta — us included — you can ask for all of this:

  • An ABN you can look up. Ours is 48 691 121 525 (check it on the ABR).
  • NDIS Worker Screening for every worker, plus a Blue Card where they work with children. Ask to see the clearance, not just the promise.
  • Insurance — public liability and professional indemnity. A legitimate provider will show you the certificate of currency.
  • Rates at or below the NDIS price guide, in writing before the first shift. How our pricing works.
  • A written service agreement you can read before you sign and end without penalty.
  • A complaints pathway that goes outside the provider — the NDIS Commission on 1800 035 544. Ours is here.

We are not an NDIS-registered provider, which is why we work with self- and plan-managed plans. We say that up front rather than let you find out later.

How it starts

  1. Call 0403 886 293 for a 10-minute chat with Heidi, or do the 1-minute check and we will call you.
  2. A free meet-and-greet with the worker before you commit to anything.
  3. A simple service agreement, then support starts — usually within one to two weeks.

Nearby suburbs we also cover

Kirra · Bilinga · Tugun · Currumbin · Palm Beach · Tweed Heads.

Just outside these? Ask. We would rather tell you honestly on the phone than list every postcode. For the bigger picture see NDIS support workers on the Gold Coast.
