NDIS support in Carindale
Carindale is family territory in Brisbane's east — leafy streets, big parks along Bulimba Creek, and Westfield Carindale as the meeting point for the whole area. Carina, Camp Hill, Coorparoo and Cannon Hill are minutes away. We support NDIS participants here who want steady help at home and a hand to get out and do things.
What we help with
The four core supports, in plain words: help at home (mornings, meals, the house), getting out and about (community access, social time, sport), transport (appointments, work, school, day programs) and everyday things and skills. If you are not sure what fits, call — we will work it out with you. See the four supports.
What support looks like around Carindale
Most of what people need here is close: the shopping centre, the bus interchange next to it, medical suites, and the parkland and bikeway along the creek. Old Cleveland Road takes you to the city or out to the bay in either direction, and we drive participants both ways. Community hours in this part of town tend to be a mix — a walk or a swim, a shop, a class at the library or a local hall, or just time somewhere that is not the house. We follow what you want out of it and keep the same worker so it builds.
Why a small, founder-led provider
A big provider can cover Carindale from anywhere. We would rather cover it well. Heidi matches you with a worker who lives on the east side, so 8am starts are reliable and travel is not eating your funding. You meet the worker before you commit, you can swap if it is not working, and you can call the founder directly if anything is off.
How to check a provider is legitimate
There are people in this industry who should not be. Whoever you choose in Carindale — us included — you can ask for all of this:
- An ABN you can look up. Ours is 48 691 121 525 (check it on the ABR).
- NDIS Worker Screening for every worker, plus a Blue Card where they work with children. Ask to see the clearance, not just the promise.
- Insurance — public liability and professional indemnity. A legitimate provider will show you the certificate of currency.
- Rates at or below the NDIS price guide, in writing before the first shift. How our pricing works.
- A written service agreement you can read before you sign and end without penalty.
- A complaints pathway that goes outside the provider — the NDIS Commission on 1800 035 544. Ours is here.
We are not an NDIS-registered provider, which is why we work with self- and plan-managed plans. We say that up front rather than let you find out later.
How it starts
- Call 0403 886 293 for a 10-minute chat with Heidi, or do the 1-minute check and we will call you.
- A free meet-and-greet with the worker before you commit to anything.
- A simple service agreement, then support starts — usually within one to two weeks.
