Keystone Community Care
Hi, I'm Heidi. You'll talk to me first — not a call centre.
I've spent over a decade in disability support before starting Keystone in Brisbane. I started it because I kept seeing the same thing: big rosters, rushed shifts, and families who never knew who was turning up.
So Keystone is deliberately small. I meet every participant myself, I match you with a worker I know personally, and if something isn't right you call me and we fix it — no ticket numbers, no "your call is important to us".
The people in our photos are real — boccia days with the Redlands Rebels, the Story Bridge climb, Christmas lunches. Where we've had to use an illustration, we say so.
The four things NDIS core funding pays for — in plain words.
Every plan is different. Most families come to us for one or two of these and add more as trust builds. Not sure which line in your plan covers what? Call — we read plans every day.

Not sure what fits? Tell us what a good week would look like and we'll map it to your plan.
You'll know the price before you say yes.
Money is where trust is won or lost in this sector. So here's how we do it: your NDIS plan funds the support, we invoice you (or your plan manager) at published rates, and nothing changes without you agreeing to it in writing first.
Self-managed or plan-managed?
Both work with us. Self-managed: we invoice you and you claim it back through the NDIS portal. Plan-managed: we invoice your plan manager directly. NDIA-managed plans need a registered provider — we'll tell you straight if that's you.
Price-guide rates, or under
We charge at or below the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits — the same caps every provider must follow. You'll get our exact rates in writing before a single shift.
No sign-up fee, no lock-in
No joining fees, no minimum term. If it isn't working, you can change your worker or end the agreement — you don't owe us loyalty.
Fair cancellation terms
Life happens. Give us as much notice as you can; the short-notice terms are the standard NDIS ones and they're spelled out in the agreement, not buried.
A plain-English service agreement
One document that says what we'll do, when, for how much, and how to stop. Read it with your plan manager or support coordinator — we're happy to walk through it.
No pressure, no paperwork up front — just this.
Same or next business day
Step 1: A ten-minute chat with Heidi
You tell us what a good week would look like and what's not working now. No forms, no scripts. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
Usually within a week
Step 2: Meet the worker before you commit
We suggest one or two support workers we know personally and set up a free meet-and-greet — at home, a café, wherever you're comfortable. You choose.
When you're ready
Step 3: A plain-English service agreement
One document: what, when, how much, how to change or stop. Read it with whoever you like. Nothing starts until you're happy with it.
Typically 1–2 weeks from your first call
Step 4: Support starts — and we check in
Same worker, same times, and Heidi checks in after the first shifts. If anything's off, you tell us and we change it. That's the whole system.
Things you can check, not things we say about ourselves.
There are people in this industry who shouldn't be. Here's what stands behind Keystone — every one of these is something you can ask us to prove.
- NDIS Worker Screening + Blue CardEvery worker holds a current NDIS Worker Screening clearance and, where they work with children, a Blue Card. We keep the expiry dates, not just the promise.
- First Aid & CPR, currentProvide First Aid and CPR certificates on file for every worker, renewed on schedule.
- InsuredPublic liability and professional indemnity insurance in place. Ask and we'll show you the certificate of currency.
- Your information, locked downRecords are encrypted, access is logged, and we follow the Privacy Act and the NDIS Practice Standards. You can see or correct your file any time.
- Change your worker any timeThe right match matters more than our roster. If it isn't clicking, tell Heidi and we'll rematch — no awkwardness, no fee.
- A real complaints pathwayTalk to Heidi first; if you'd rather go outside us, the NDIS Commission is 1800 035 544. Both are on our complaints page, not hidden.
Registration status: we are not an NDIS-registered provider. Self- and plan-managed participants can choose any provider, including us. Feedback & complaints

Courtside, most weeks
First place at the Boccia Invitationals with Sporting Wheelies.
That's Danielle and Heidi. Support isn't only shifts at home — it's the sport, the team, the trophy photo. You'll find us at Redlands Rebels boccia days more often than not.
We're around. You'll see us.
Keystone puts a share of what we earn back into the community — most of all the Redlands Rebels boccia club, who we sponsor and turn up for on game days. That means real things: money towards uniforms, prizes and gear, and being courtside when it counts. It's not a marketing line — it's where some of the money goes. Want the specifics? Ask Heidi.
iFLY, Surfers Paradise — out of the chair and into the wind tunnel.
Boccia court, assistance dog on duty.
Game day. Thumbs up says it all.
Dinner out — hats compulsory, apparently.
Brisbane and the Gold Coast — the central bits, properly.
We'd rather do two regions well than list every postcode in South East Queensland. Just outside these? Call — sometimes it works, and we'll tell you honestly if it doesn't.
