NDIS core supports are the everyday services funded by the National Disability Insurance Scheme to help participants with daily life. They include four categories: Assistance with Daily Living (personal care, meal preparation, household tasks), Social and Community Participation (recreational activities, skill building, community events), Transport Assistance (getting to appointments, activities, and work), and Consumables Support (continence aids, assistive items, everyday essentials). At Keystone Community Care, we provide all four core support categories for self-managed NDIS participants across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Do I need to be NDIS registered to use your services?

No, you do not need to use an NDIS-registered provider if you are a self-managed or plan-managed NDIS participant. Self-managed participants have the freedom to choose any provider, including non-registered providers like Keystone Community Care. This gives you more flexibility and choice in selecting support workers who are the right fit for you. We are currently in the process of becoming NDIS registered, but self-managed participants can access our services right now.

Keystone Community Care currently provides NDIS core support services across the Brisbane metropolitan area and the Gold Coast region in Queensland, Australia. This includes suburbs such as Southport, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Robina, Nerang, and surrounding areas on the Gold Coast, as well as Brisbane CBD, South Brisbane, Fortitude Valley, Chermside, Carindale, and surrounding Brisbane suburbs. We are expanding our service areas, so please get in touch to check availability in your specific location.

How do you match me with a support worker?

We take a person-centred approach to matching you with the right support worker. After an initial conversation to understand your goals, preferences, personality, and support needs, we carefully select a support worker from our team who aligns with your requirements. We consider factors like experience, skills, availability, location, shared interests, and cultural compatibility. Your comfort and connection with your support worker is our top priority, and you always have the option to request a different worker if the match does not feel right.
